Historically, she began her work life in Purchasing as the Buyer of Furniture and Small Equipment for Massachusetts Indemnity Life Insurance Company. From there, she became a Senior Benefit Analyst in at Cigna. But then, her child was born early at 1lb, 9oz, and she left the 9 to 5 corporate world. He needed her time and she needed the freedom to provide his special needs every bit of attention he needed. Her son was (is) legally blind, with cerebral palsy, and autism.

To survive, she went back to school in Atlanta and became a freelance commercial photographer, but, she isn’t just any mom-photographer. She became one of a five woman, world wide in over 66 years, to win the International Award of Excellence in Photography by Communication Arts 4 times. Her work is peerless.
